该节目是厨艺大师的少年版，三位评委仍由戈登.拉姆齐、乔·巴斯提许、埃利奥特·格雷厄姆担任。24位8-13岁的小选手进行一次三组对抗赛，12位进入正赛，每期淘汰两位，冠军奖金10万美元。
